Cedrus deodara 'Gold Cone' is a nice selection of an upright golden Himalayan cedar that has bright golden new growth over a blueish-green older interior. This provides great contrast on itself. 'Gold Cone' is a fairly narrow growing selection of Himalayan cedar by  William Goddard of Floravista Gardens, Victoria, BC, Canada. Some specimens develop a weeping habit, but continue it's narrow shape. 'Gold Cone' may reach 12-15ft  by 6-7 ft in width in 10 years.
