'Argentea variegata' is a selection of Cornus alternifolia with variegated leaves. The light green leaves are rimmed in a thick white border. This gives great interest from spring through fall. Like most pagoda dogwoods, 'Argentea Variegata' does create large clusters of white blooms typical of the species. 'Argentea Variegata' may reach 12-15 ft in height in 10 years. 'Argentea Variegata' has also been known under the name 'Argentea' and 'Argentea marginata'.
