Corylopsis gotoana is a larger spreading winter hazel that has long, golden blooms in the early spring, followed by large rounded lilypad-like chartreuse green leaves that are quite attractive. In the fall Corylopsis gotoana may turn yellow to orange. Corylopsis gotoana has a nice upright spreading habit reaching 6-8 ft in height and width in 10 years.
