'Cameron's Weeping' is one of the rarest beeches in the nursery trade. As a cultivar of Fagus grandifolia, the American Beech, this selection has larger leaves than the European beech and also a silver bark that gives a nice addition throughout the year in the landscape. 'Cameron's Weeping' has an extraordinary weeping habit, starting out slightly upright with horizontal branching, becoming more weeping and contorting with age. After 10 years, 'Cameron's Weeping' may reach 6 ft in height and width. 'Cameron's Weeping' was found as a chance seedling by David Dannaher of Galena, Ohio.
