'The President', also known as 'Presidential Gold', is a upright male selection of ginkgo tree with distinct upright branching but makes a full rounded top. This creates an excellent specimen in the landcape. Fall color is a bright golden yellow. 'The President' may reach 15-20 ft in 10 years. 'The President' was found and selected by famed plantsman, Dr. Michael Dirr. Its cone-shaped form and deep yellow fall foliage make it an attractive ornamental tree for any landscape design. 'The President' is a hardy and long-lived tree that can tolerate a variety of soil conditions.
