'Little Volunteer’ is a beautiful small leaf tulip poplar that may reach 25 ft in height by 10 ft in width in 10 years. The tighter pyramidal and narrow form of ‘Little Volunteer’ makes it an excellent compact form of tulip poplar for the landscape and garden. The small leaves of ‘Little Volunteer’ are tiny compared to the species. This makes quite an interesting tree for the ornamental garden, but is also excellent as a street tree in more residential areas where smaller trees are needed.
