'Daweswood Tawny Fleece', also known as 'Dawes Arboretum W.B.' is a dwarf dawn redwood with an orange hue to the green foliage and a dense compact habit. The Dawes Arboretum planted a number of dawn redwoods in rows that had been wild collected as way to provide a seed source that could increase the genetic diversity of metasequoia in the United States. One of these wild collected redwoods formed a witches' broom mutation, which when grafted became this dwarf dawn redwood selection. 

This selection is extremely new. We believe that this dwarf selection may reach less than 10 ft in 15 years. Be one of the first to get this amazing dwarf dawn redwood!
