'Ruby Vase’ is a narrow upright form of Persian ironwood that was selected for its tight upright form and bright red to plum red fall color. Like most parrotia, ‘Ruby Vase’ develops a nice flaking bark interest with age. ‘Ruby Vase’ may reach 15 ft in height by 6 ft in width in 10 years.
