'Katsura' is a pieris selection with wine colored new growth, which matures to dark green. This creates a great contrast mid-summer and early spring when new growth in pushing. Bell shaped pink blooms on 'Katsura' are an additional feature that will add a lot to this floweirng Japanese andromeda. 'Katsura' may reach 6 ft in height by 5 ft in width in 10 years. 'Katsura' was selected and introduced by Yoshimichi Hirose in Japan.
