'Aurea' is golden form of Japanese red pine that forms a conical shape 6-7 ft in height by 4-5 ft in width in 10 years. 'Aurea' typically displays greener needles during the summer, but intensifies to a highlighter yellow during the winter. 'Aurea' may be even more intense in its yellow form in colder climates, although the pine in these photos was photographed  by Neil Fusillo in Marietta, Georgia.
