'Blauer Eichzwerg' is a spectacular silver-blue foliaged dwarf member of the giant redwoods. This evergreen selection was an introduction from Austria around 1988. The name tranlsates as "blue oak dwarf", which apparently was named after the originator's hometown. The grey to blue color on this dense dwarf  giant redwood is quite striking.
