'Daruma' is a dwarf small-leafed Japanese viburnum that was brought over from Japan by Brian Upchurch. The small leaves that are slightly bigger than a nickel and dense habit make this shrub attractive alone. In mid-to-late spring white clustered flowers cover this dwarf flowering shrub. These white flowers mature to red berries that is very appealing over the green leaves. 'Daruma' may reach 6-7 ft in 15 years.
