Camellia 'Arctic Rose' is prized for its exceptional winter hardiness, making it suitable for colder climates. Bred by Dr. William Ackerman, this evergreen shrub produces striking rose-red, formal double flowers from February to April. The blooms, which measure medium-sized and maintain a perfect, symmetrical form, continue over an extended period, spanning both mid and late seasons.

With a compact, dense habit, 'Arctic Rose' reaches about 6 ft in height and 4 ft in width at maturity, growing at a moderate rate. Its slightly smaller mature size makes it ideal as a low-maintenance hedge, container plant, or landscape accent.
