The Cercis canadensis ‘Lavender Twist®’ is a striking variety of Eastern Redbud, celebrated for its unique weeping form and vibrant color. This cultivar features gracefully arching branches that twist in an artistic display, growing to around 6-8 ft in height and 8-10 ft in width. It’s ideal for smaller gardens or as a standout feature in landscaping. In the spring, ‘Lavender Twist®’ is adorned with numerous small, pea-like flowers in a delicate lavender-pink hue, which blanket the branches before the leaves fully unfold. The heart-shaped leaves start off reddish, shift to green as the season advances, and may turn yellow or orange in the fall, offering year-round visual interest.
