Acer palmatum 'Kashmir'

Zones: 5-9

'Kashmir' is an exciting new introduction known for its vigorous growth and strikingly thread-like leaves.

Spring: In early spring, the needle-like leaves twist and curl in a psychedelic fashion, creating a unique texture that stands out in any garden. As the season progresses, these threads mature slightly wider, yet remain narrower than those of 'Koto no ito'.

Growth: Over the course of 10 years, 'Kashmir' is expected to reach a height of 8-10 feet, making it a noteworthy addition to any landscape.

Origins: Discovered and introduced by MrMaple.com, 'Kashmir' is part of the Area 51 Collection—Maples that are out of this world!
