Acer pictum 'Naguri nishiki'

Check out the 'Naguri nishiki', the whitest selection of batwing maple! This variety can take your breath away with its bright white color that emerges in the spring, with a few green splatters on the leaves. To maintain the whiteness, provide some shade during hot afternoons throughout the year. If exposed to more sunlight, the summer color may turn into a light green with a slight variegation. During fall, the leaves turn yellow to orange. The cultivar was introduced in the Saitama prefecture by Takayuki Kishida and can grow up to 8-10 ft in 15 years. This specific cultivar does well in Zones 5 through 9.
